Contemplative Outreach of Indianapolis Resources
Centering Prayer Presenter Formation is offered by the Indianapolis Chapter. If you are interested in becoming a presenter of the Introduction to Centering Prayer, please contact Mary Beth Riner.
Indianapolis Chapter of the International Thomas Merton Society monthly meetings are at All Saints Episcopal Church located at 1559 Central Ave. in Indianapolis, on the third Wednesday of the month at 7:00 PM.
THE WELCOME TABLE gathers at Faith Presbyterian Church, 8170 Hague Road, 46256 every 1st and 3rd Sunday at 4pm. It is a non-traditional worship service with no sermon lasting about an hour. We gather with the focus on the ancient practice of LECTIO DIVINA, hearing the scripture and asking deeper questions on each reading. All ages are welcome. There are musicians and we will experience COMMUNITY SINGING. Afterwards, we serve simple food from baked potatoes to nachos. Some people with individual dietary needs bring their own choices to eat. The bread served with the Lord’s Supper is gluten free.
